The home is listed as a two bedroom, but there is a 3rd room that could qualify as a bedroom. However, the layout is such that you have to walk through that room to get to the rear bedroom. What Did That Westwood Home Sell For?

The Westwood home at 2219 Benecia Ave LA CA 90064 lasted 74 days on the market before receiving an accepted offer on 3/30/11. Listed on 1/15/11 for $819,900, the property received 2 price reductions during the current REO listing term. The home closed on 5/3/11 for $718,000.


2219 Benecia was previously for sale in 2010 as a regular sale and then a short sale. Starting out as a regular sale for $1,100,000, it stayed on the market for 190 days. Then in August, the home received a $250,000 price reduction to $850,000 and was claimed to be  a short sale at that point. It is not known whether the seller was working with an offer with the bank and just couldn't get the bank to accept the offer and terms. Either way, the home was foreclosed on by the bank and became an REO property for sale.
