The home at 2120 Holmby Ave., LA CA 90025 lasted 42 days on the market, going into escrow on 9/7/09. The home was listed on 7/27/09 for $999,000 and did not receive a price reduction during this listing term. The closed on 10/21/09 for $940,000. According to the MLS, the home is a 3 bedroom /1.5 bath, 1,536 sq ft of living space on a 5,052 sq ft lot
The home returned to market 7/27/09 after trying to sell in the 2nd half of 2008. However, the seller's fixed a functional flaw that affected the house last time it was on the market. The house is a 3 bedroom home and you used to have to walk through a room to get to the 3rd bedroom. Not exactly functional living. It looks like the owners created a hallway that now separates the two bedrooms, creating easier living and obviously more privacy for the two bedrooms. The previous asking price in 2008 was $1,150,000. The house sits up above the street on a quiet tree lined block on Holmby, south of Santa Monica Blvd. One thing to note is the backyard is very spacious considering the smaller lot size.
