From the outside, the house seems very plain and traditional. But on the inside, the house has a very modern and architectural feel. The house has lots of interesting angles throughout. The living room has two story ceilings with lots of windows and light shining through. The gourmet kitchen has been updated with higher end stainless steel appliances, newer cabinetry and some sort of stone countertop. The kitchen opens in the den and breakfast nook areas giving the downstairs area a very airy and open floor plan feel to it.

The higher starting price might not of helped either.

Here is a Westwood condo I would consider a good deal at the moment in the entry level price range. The bank just reduced their REO condo at 2345 S. Bentley Ave., LA CA 90064 5% yesterday, to an attractive price of $512,900. According to the MLS, the condo is a 2+2, 1,598 sq ft built in 1990. The property has been on the market 30 days before this price change.  For a unit this size in a newer building, the price is real attractive for the area. I would suspect this unit will not last too much longer. For those who like to compare price per sq ft, your looking at around $300 ppsqft or even less if the bank negotiates. Now, you can get something similiar down the street at 2205 S. Bentley for less money, currently listed at $450k. However, that unit literally looks onto Olympic and is very noisey.
