1st Price Reduction For Long Time Market Active 10594 Kinnard Ave

The contemporary style home at 10594 Kinnard Ave., LA CA 90024 received a long overdue price reduction this week of 5.9% or $100,000, down to $1,599,000. The property was originally listed on 10/25/07 for $1,695,000 and lasted 65 days before expiring off the market. The home was then re-listed on 5/1/08 for $1,695,000 and now has been on the market 186 days on the current listing period before this first price reduction. According to the MLS, the home is a 4 bedroom / 3 bath, 2,006 sq ft home on a 6,760 sq ft lot.

this is what is called "not a real seller" -- because if they really want to sell, they will meet the MARKET price, not set one and hope the market meets them. Unless they actually have somehow become a "real seller," this one will languish forever

I agree with you. The market has several sellers who you would probley refer to as 'not a real seller'. Its possible this particular seller is finally getting the hint. I am glad he/she showed some sense and dropped it $100k. We shall see whether this new price will interest anyone or whether it will take more price cuts to entice an offer.
