According to the RealEstalker celebrity real estate blog and Entertainment Tonight, Tori Spelling is selling her home at 1955 Thayer Ave., LA CA 90025. I have not seen anything come up on the MLS yet as an active listing, but Entertainment Tonight is saying the home is listed for $2,395,000. Tori purchased this home earlier this year on 2/12/08 for $2,275,000. The previous MLS listing stated the 2005 built home is 5 bedrooms / 3.5 baths, 3,300 sq ft of living space on a 6,665 sq ft lot.

if I were her, I would raise my price above what I paid too, given how super-strong the market is and all...

I am sure you are being sarcastic. Although you are funny, I would have to disagree. There have been a few sales of new homes close to the $2.5 mark in the area that they would be using as a comp. Plus from the pictures, the home looks really nice inside and out.

so why was it "cheap" to her? did she improve it at all? if not, your concept makes no sense to me.

I have been tracking this house and looked at it when it was for sale in January. Before Tori, I liked the house. It was perhaps plain, but clean, dark woods, and nice. She put a LOT into it, and if you like black toilets, black wallpaper, and printed wallpaper everywhere, then you will like it. It's definitely a distinct taste, the market has taken a downturn, and I wonder if the production bought the house for her and is now selling it....

Why do you think they are selling, didn't they just buy this???

Its Me....I am not sure why they are selling, but I have read in a few places that they could possibly looking for something a little more private and gated. But that would be just speculation at this point.
anon 118pm.... Like anon 406pm said, supposedly she did improve the property inside. I will be viewing the property later this morning, so I will get a chance to see what they did to the home since owning it.
we can discuss comps and list price later after I see the house.

looks like it would need at least new wallpaper, paint if a few rooms (yes, this is a matter of taste....)
