Little Holmby Architectural Home Now Priced At $1,775,000

651 Warner Ave, LA CA 90024 in the Little Holmby section of Westwood has received 3 price reductions so far during the current listing term. After the third price reduction last week of 4.3% or $80,000, the property received a quick adjustment down of another $10,000. Thus making the new sales price $1,775,000. The property has been on the market now 107 days.

According to public records the home is a 2 bed / 2 bath, 1,921 sq ft of house on a 10,933 sq ft lot.

even though this is a "special house", is it allowed to be added to?

This is a bit of a complex question. If you look purely at the house and lot size, I believe LA building code would allow some expansion. However, its more complicated because the lot is not flat and also how the house sits on the lot. You would have to speak to an architect on how it could be done. So the short answer is, I believe so.

Would the fact that it's a Neutra house suggest that there could be architectural integrity protests from the larger community if the owner tried to modify the current house?

Very good point Emma. While it is a Neutra, I am not sure how significant or famous the house is that you would get people lined up at your doorstop protesting. Hopefully if the buyer modify's the home by going up a story or something, they would keep the integrity of the house intact. Then you could possibly thwart an architectural community protest.
